I am really excited to start an online music lesson course. Actually, I am taking online English lessons everyday. I had a?virtual workshop with a Baccalaureate International organisation about over 3 years ago, but now I can remember Ms Karen. She is an amazing facilitator and her participants are still friends in my heart. I acquired some skills using Jambord, Kahoot! and canva. We learned how to use technology in our classes. and the most important thing is to always be open to asking questions. It was uncomfortable for me at first, because I had been learning in the Japanese education system. In the Japanese classes I took, I always found the right answer. There was one correct answer and the rest were wrong. *But there were no right or wrong answers to the questions being asked at the workshop. If there was anything undesirable, it was quiet, which, in Japan would be regarded as being polite and taking the class. Through this experience I changed what kind of music teacher I wanted to be and I will put it into practice different ways of interacting and engaging with the participants through online music lessons.
